Let Me Tell You About CrossFit…
At CrossFit Royston you’ll become part of our family to help encourage and motivate as you prepare to deal with life’s challenges (even if this is staying awake at work or dealing with the kids all day). CrossFit’s unique ten-point strength and conditioning programmes are designed to work the whole body physically and mentally, this will help reduce weight, strengthen and tone your body, while sharpening your mind too!
CrossFit exercise is all about functional movements, it has been described as “Gymnastics meets Olympic lifting”. CrossFit is really a lifestyle for those that want to become better humans. Here at Royston we see CrossFit like a team sport and the encouragement from everyone in your session will push you to smash your fitness goals.
The CrossFit community is an international one so even when you go on holiday there will be a box nearby.

We will end the session with a WOD (Workout of the Day), to give you a feel for the regular classes.

During the two hour foundation class you will learn all the techniques needed to take part confidently in the CrossFit sessions.
Secure your place in our easy to use booking system.
Spaces are limited so you get the full attention of our fully qualified trainers and by the end you will know all the CrossFit lingo.
Once you have completed the Foundation Class, you can start to book onto the regular CrossFit classes.
If you are a CrossFitter already speak to one of the team and we can assess if the Foundation Class is required based on what past experience you have with lifting.

Open 7 days a week with a range of class times across the day.
A typical class looks like this…
Warm up,
Technique / Strength Work,
Introduction and completion of the 'Workout of the Day' (WOD),
Cool down.
You can book two weeks in advance making planning easy.

The Venue
The Box
The box is where all the CrossFit sessions take place.
It has all the equipment needed to ensure your workout
is fully optimised to your level.

weights that are available for cardio and strength
training in addition to CrossFit.

Therapy
Sometimes when you undertake intensive training
your body may need some attention, Physio, Sports
massage, Chiropractic. At CrossFit Royston
we have a number of treatment rooms with specialists who can help.

Facilities
CrossFit Royston is situated at The Heath Sports Centre,
there is ample free parking, changing rooms with lockers
and the best outdoor space, which when the weather
permits, is used for classes.
